Delivery, Refunds and Returns

Delivery

At the present time I can only arrange for delivery in the UK, but please be in touch if you live outside the UK as the situation relating to exports may change.

Postage, packing and delivery is a flat rate of £25. Safe packaging for ceramics is a major issue and this means that the cost is considerably more than, for example, a 2-D object. I use a local firm that specialises in bespoke packaging. Each box is custom-made for the piece and uses environmentally-friendly packing peanuts and bubble wrap.

Please note that within the UK there is no available insurance for damage of ceramics during transit. I will do my utmost to ensure that pieces are packed appropriately and will make a video for my own purposes of the packaging that has been put in place.

Estimated delivery times are between 3–10 working days from purchase. Some variation may occur with postal providers, meaning that delivery could take longer than estimated and may be out of my control. During public holidays (eg Christmas, Easter weekend and Bank Holidays) please be aware that deliveries may take longer than under normal circumstances.

I use national courier services or Royal Mail ‘Signed For’, depending on the type and size of piece ordered. A signature will usually be required on delivery.

Please ensure that your delivery address details are correct. I cannot be held responsible for any delivery issues that may arise due to incorrect address details. If you arrange for a package to be left at your home or with a neighbour, this is at your own risk.

Each product purchased is sold subject to its Product Description, but please do remember that hand crafted items are unique.

 

Returns

I hope you will be very happy with your purchase, but I understand that in some cases you may wish to return an item and seek a refund. Please return your item in good condition, in its original packaging. You are liable for the cost of postage, although to qualify for a full refund including the price of the product’s original delivery charge you must notify me you will be returning the item within 14 working days from the date you received the products. You then have 14 days from this date to return your purchase.

Return must be via Royal Mail ‘Signed For’ or a reputable courier that operates equivalent conditions. You are advised to keep photographic evidence of the way you have packaged the item and to keep a receipt from the courier or from Royal Mail.

I cannot accept liability for returned goods being lost or damaged in transit. 

If you have ordered more than one item and are returning some but not all of your order I cannot offer a refund on the initial postage cost.

 

Refunds

To qualify for a full refund including the price of the product’s original delivery charge you must notify me you will be returning the item within 14 working days from the date you received the products. You then have 14 days from this date to return your purchase.
