Seascape4 is one element in my Seascape series, inspired by the wild and sombre seascape paintings of Joan Eardley.  It is a sculptural ceramic, designed to enhance a home's interior design. Handbuilt (coiled) from a grey highly textured base clay, it incorporates clays of other tones and textures. The interior of my pieces is as important as the exterior, showing the reverse side of the incorporated clays and their base clay.
