JUDITH  GLOVER  CERAMICS

I have had several joint exhibitions at the Kunsthuis Gallery, Crayke, North Yorkshire.

I exhibited my work at the Craft Potters Association ceramics exhibition in the Hospiteum, Museum Gardens, York, October 6-7 2018.

From September to October 2019 my Morandi-inspired work was shown under the title ‘Ensembles’ at the Morten Gallery,  East Yorkshire.

Yorkshire Life magazine featured my work in ‘Art: A New Journey’, August 2019.

My work was accepted for the Hepworth Wakefield Ceramics Fair, originally to have taken place in May 2020 but cancelled due to the global health crisis.

In 2020 I did a Q&A for the Friends of York Art Gallery. This explains a lot about my background and my approach.

Landscape2  (2020) featured on the front cover of Northern Potters Association News, December 2020.

In 2021 Landscape2 was exhibited at ‘In the Open’, Ryedale Folk Museum, North Yorkshire, having been selected for Ryedale’s exhibition that explored the impact of the public health crisis of 2020-1 on artists’ creativity and practices, specifically through art that related to the Northern landscape.  The exhibition was part of Ryedale Museum’s Arts Council England‘s funded project.

This celebrates the centenary of the birth of painter Joan Eardley. My presentation, ‘Responding in Clay to Joan Eardley’s Seascapes’ is available on the University of Dundee’s Youtube channel, about fifty-five minutes in.

My work featured in a 2021 virtual exhibition ‘New Year, New Inspirations’ at Flux Review, along with a Q&A.

I participated in York Open Studios in July 2021 and April 2022 (Venue 99). Yorkshire Life magazine highlighted my work in its 2022 feature on the Open Studios.

Yore Mill Gallery in Wensleydale’s Upper Aysgarth Falls exhibited my work from September 2022 to January 2023. I was Artist of the Month there in September 2022.
